Summer at the Base

Get ready for an unforgettable day out as Summer at the Base returns on Saturday 22 August, from 12–4pm!

Join us on the front lawn of our operational airbase for a fun-packed afternoon with a truly unique backdrop. You’ll enjoy prime views of our helipad and helicopter (subject to lifesaving operations), giving you a rare glimpse into the incredible work our crew do every day as they respond to emergency missions. 

What's in store?

• Fun-filled activities: bounce, climb and play with a bouncy castle, inflatable assault course, giant games, circus skills and much more!
• Meet our mascots: say hello and snap a photo with our much-loved mascots pilot Marsha and paramedic Wilber
• CPR demonstrations: meet our expert team and learn simple skills that could help save a life.
• Games and prizes: try your luck at our ever-popular tombola for the chance to win exciting prizes. (Cash recommended for games.)
  
• In addition, don't miss out on our ever-popular merchandise, fabulous offerings from our charity shop and a wide range of local traders who will be listed below once confirmed.
  
• Food stalls: refuel with tasty burgers, delicious baked treats, hot drinks, ice cream, and a fully licensed bar.
• Shopping & stalls: browse our official merchandise and explore a great selection of local traders (full list coming soon). Cash recommended as some stalls are cash only.
