Andi's Story

Andi Hunte was awaiting tests on his heart when he collapsed at home. Together, crews from the ambulance service, fire service and Wiltshire and Bath Air Ambulance Charity were able to provide the urgent care Andi needed. Andi and Kim now volunteer regularly with the Charity, attending events in the community and at the airbase.

Dominic and Henry's Story

Dominic and Henry, aged 12 and 15, were mountain biking near Bradford-on-Avon in January 2026, when Dominic fell, hitting his head on the ground with his bike landing on top of him. Thanks to Henry’s bravery and fast response calling 999 and providing their what3words location, Wiltshire and Bath Air Ambulance Charity’s crew were able to provide the rapid treatment and hospital transfer that Dominic needed.

Ansko's Story

Ansko, an internationally recognised stuntwoman for film and television, was riding a motorbike on Salisbury Plain in July 2024 when she was hit by another vehicle. Due to the remote location, Wiltshire and Bath Air Ambulance Charity was the first to the scene and were able to deliver critical care for Ansko.

Neil and Sue's Story

Neil and Sue's lives changed in an instant when Neil suddenly collapsed from his bike and went into cardiac arrest. Wiltshire and Bath Air Ambulance Charity rapidly arrived on scene to deliver lifesaving care to Neil.

Elizabeth's Story

Elizabeth Paddon says the stars aligned for her after Wiltshire and Bath Air Ambulance Charity helped her following a cardiac arrest.

Klaire's Story

Wiltshire and Bath Air Ambulance Charity came to the rescue of Klaire Alexander when she was knocked off her bike in July 2023.

Steven's Story

Steven Jefferies has thanked Wiltshire and Bath Air Ambulance Charity’s critical care team for giving him another chance at life, after suffering a cardiac arrest in May 2024.
