CycleFest is back for 2026. Join us for a brilliant day of cycling!
Taking place at the iconic Castle Combe Circuit, CycleFest offers two exciting ways to take part. Whether you are looking for a relaxed day out with the family or ready to take on a personal cycling challenge, there is something for everyone.
Challenge Ride
Ride the roads of Wiltshire and Bath and take on the challenge.
Kick-start your day with the CycleFest Challenge Ride, departing from Castle Combe Circuit from 8am. Join fellow cyclists for an unforgettable ride through the Wiltshire and Bath countryside before finishing back at the circuit.
Choose your route:
• 40 miles – The Takeoff (£35 early bird)
• 65 miles – The Full Flight (£40 early bird)
Every rider who completes the challenge will receive a CycleFest medal to celebrate their achievement.
Early bird entry closes Tuesday 5 May.
We encourage participants taking part in the challenge event to fundraise a minimum of £100 to help fund our lifesaving work.
Whether you are riding with friends, a club or taking on your first long-distance challenge, this is your chance to set a goal, enjoy incredible scenery and support our lifesaving work!
Please note that the advertised event distance is approximate and may be subject to minor variation. Due to dynamic risk assessments, including potential road closures, safety considerations, and on-the-day conditions, the total mileage may increase or decrease by a few miles.
Family Fun Day at the Circuit
A relaxed day of cycling and activities for all ages!
From 11am until 4pm, the circuit opens for our Family Fun Day, giving you a rare chance to cycle around the full Castle Combe racetrack with family and friends.
This event is open to all ages and abilities. Ride as many laps as you like throughout the afternoon and enjoy the thrill of cycling on a real race circuit.
Each lap you complete earns a stamp on your Cycling Challenge Card. The more laps you ride, the more points you collect and the chance to win fun prizes.
NEW for 2026
We are introducing a timed circuit event for families and young cyclists, giving participants the chance to set their own best time around the track. Small prizes will be awarded to those who take part.
Away from the track there will be plenty to enjoy, including:
• Children’s games and activities
• Cycling skills sessions
• The chance to meet the Wiltshire and Bath Air Ambulance mascot
• Delicious food and refreshments
• And much more still to be announced!
