Accredited First Aid Training

We are delighted to offer Accredited First Aid Training for businesses and individuals across Wiltshire and Bath.

There are two options available, a one-day Emergency First Aid at Work course or a more comprehensive three-day First Aid at Work course.

Courses takes place in our training room at the airbase in Semington.  The maximum group size is 12.

One-Day Training Course

Learners will have the skills and knowledge to provide the organisation with Emergency First Aiders that can provide treatment to their casualties in a prompt, safe and effective manner.

Syllabus

A range of subjects are covered, including:

  • Primary survey
  • Recovery position
  • Resuscitation
  • Using a defibrillator
  • Choking
  • Bleeding control
  • Seizure
  • Minor burns

Three-Day Training Course

This comprehensive three-day course covers a wide range of first aid emergencies, enabling all participants to deal with emergency situations with confidence in a prompt, safe and effective way.

Syllabus

A range of subjects are covered, including:

  • Primary survey
  • Recovery position
  • CPR and AED awareness
  • Specialised burns
  • Sprains and strains
  • Chest injuries
  • Choking
  • Bleeding control
  • Seizure
  • Shock (including Anaplylaxis)
  • Head injuries
  • Eye injuries
  • Bandaging
  • Major illnesses (heart attack, stroke, epilepsy, asthma and diabetes)
