The Chalk Walk challenge invites you to explore some of the most iconic countryside in Wiltshire, while raising vital funds for Wiltshire and Bath Air Ambulance Charity.

Join us on the front lawn of our operational airbase for a fun-packed afternoon with a truly unique backdrop. You’ll enjoy prime views of our helipad and helicopter (subject to lifesaving operations), giving you a rare glimpse into the incredible work our crew do every day as they respond to emergency missions.
What's in store?
- Fun-filled activities: bounce, climb and play with a bouncy castle, inflatable assault course, giant games, circus skills and much more!
- Meet our mascots: say hello and snap a photo with our much-loved mascots pilot Marsha and paramedic Wilber
- CPR demonstrations: meet our expert team and learn simple skills that could help save a life.
- Games and prizes: try your luck at our ever-popular tombola for the chance to win exciting prizes. (Cash recommended for games.)
- In addition, don't miss out on our ever-popular merchandise, fabulous offerings from our charity shop and a wide range of local traders who will be listed below once confirmed.
- Food stalls: refuel with tasty burgers, delicious baked treats, hot drinks, ice cream, and a fully licensed bar.
- Shopping & stalls: browse our official merchandise and explore a great selection of local traders (full list coming soon). Cash recommended as some stalls are cash only.

If you would like to trade at our Summer at the Base event, please complete the below application form and email it to events@wbairambulance.org.uk. The button opens a Word document, or you can fill in the form directly on the page.
Event terms and conditions
- If we receive heavy rain in the lead up to this event, we may have to postpone to a later date (this decision will be made as early as possible). Purchased tickets will automatically be transferred to the new date.
- If there has been mild rain leading up to the event we will proceed but please wear sensible footwear. We are called Outmarsh for a reason.
- As an operational airbase, please be aware of the road as our critical care cars may be deployed very quickly. Our volunteers will assist with this and ask you to move to a safe distance, we ask that you comply with any instructions given.
- Please be responsible for all your property and rubbish, if anything is left on the ground it could become a potential risk to the aircraft. With this in mind our volunteers will be collecting anything left unattended throughout.
- The event site is a non-smoking site (including all vapes) except in one designated area.
- No dogs are allowed on site except for registered assistance dogs. Please note dogs are not to be left in vehicles during the event.
