Take on a brand-new challenge with our exciting Paddle for Purpose event. Set off from Bathampton and complete a 10km out and back route on the Kennet and Avon Canal.
The Business Club Networking - October 2026
Join us for networking with a difference at our airbase! Fraser Normington, our head of fundraising, who will be discussing the "Human side of Business" with special guest speakers, Robin Worrall and Paula Harsley. Rather than focusing purely on profit, our panel will discuss people, purpose and impact as well as relating it to their own industries.
We are bringing back our panel discussion this year with a different topic. Fraser Normington, our head of fundraising, who be will be discussing the "Human side of Business" with special guest speakers, Robin Worrall (Rednine) who focusses on creating brands that move people and Paula Harsley (Wordsmith), who focusses on finding the human voice and the right words for your business.
Rather than focusing purely on profit, our panel will discuss people, purpose and impact as well as relating it to their own industries.
Some questions we hope to cover are:
Why should businesses care about their wider community?
Does having a purpose actually benefit a business?
How do you create a culture people want to be part of?
How can we improve employee wellbeing and engagement?
How can we support local communities?
Can doing good and doing good business go hand-in-hand?
This session is also free for first time guests.
