Visitors at WAA airbase viewing the helicopter taking off

Over 100 guests, including more than 30 children on Easter break, visited the charity’s airbase in Semington and were able to enjoy tea, coffee and cake with the charity’s pilots, critical care paramedics and doctors.

There was also the opportunity for guests to speak to volunteers from Freewheelers EVS, who were stationed outside the charity's airbase with blood bikes.

WAA fundraising manager Fraser Normington said: “Brew with the Crew has firmly established itself as one of the highlights of the charity’s events calendar. This year's Easter themed event was our fourth one and it has sold out every time. It was fantastic to see so many of our supporters at the airbase engaging with our aircrew in person.”

Thank you to everyone who helped make our Easter Brew with the Crew event such a success. A special thank you to Sue Eaton and Sweet Pea at Hartham Park for donating cakes, pastries and treats for the event.
