Arboriculture company donate time

The FATO (Final Approach and Take-Off Area) had several overhanging trees encroaching across the fencing, which could turn into a safety risk if it were to continue.
With the helicopter now away for its annual service, John O’Conner Arboriculture came in with a six-strong team to complete the work in a day.
The company kindly donated their time to undertake the work because two of their staff have needed the services of Wiltshire and Bath Air Ambulance Charity, both being airlifted to hospital.

Wiltshire and Bath Air Ambulance Charity safety and ground operations manager Richard Miller said: “We cannot thank the team from John O’Conner Arboriculture enough for their efforts in clearing all the trees on our FATO.
“By donating their time to undertake this work, they have saved the charity significant costs and, most importantly, ensured the area is safe for our helicopter when it returns from its annual service.”
James Cockram from the company said: "Wiltshire and Bath Air Ambulance Charity is an important frontline lifesaving charity and I was thrilled to have the opportunity to help."
John O’Conner is a privately owned, award-winning company that provides landscaping, grounds maintenance, arboriculture and pest control services to customers in both private and public sectors.
