Community funds new kit for the crew in The Big Give Christmas Challenge
Monday, 08 December 2025
Our community has once again shown incredible kindness and belief in our work. We are delighted to share that our Big Give Christmas Challenge target has not only been met, but exceeded, thanks to the generosity of more than 100 donors who came together to support our crew.
Our campaign aimed to raise £37,300 to fund new, properly fitted uniforms for our pilots, doctors and paramedics. These specialist items are essential for comfort and safety when attending emergencies within our community and beyond. With crew working in all weather and terrains, updated kit will help them stay comfortable and focussed on delivering the highest level of critical care for people across Wiltshire and Bath.
Thanks to your incredible support, the full target was reached just three days into the week-long appeal! The final amount raised will ensure each our team have the professional, gender appropriate and hard-wearing uniforms they need, helping them carry out their lifesaving work with confidence.
We want to say a heartfelt thank you to the many people who made this possible. This includes our corporate partners who pledged their support, the community groups who spread the word and contributed fundraising efforts, and the individuals and families who donated and shared the campaign online. Every single act of kindness helped bring us over the line far earlier than expected.
This success shows the strength of our community and the shared commitment to supporting our pilots, doctors and paramedics. Together, you have helped make a very real difference to our crew.
