Inflatable fun at our airbase
Monday, 25 September 2023
The Bradford-on-Avon company, who produced our charity’s website, narrowly edged out Deceuninck by five points to lift the trophy.
It’s A Knockout was hosted in Semington for the first time and involved a host of inflatable games, including slides, wet ball pits and even dressing up in kangaroos suits!
Many of the teams had turned up in the fancy dress, including pirates, ninjas and even a Christmas theme!
The competitors were also treated to seeing the helicopter landing back at the airbase during the lunch period, after the aircrew had responded to incidents in Swindon and Chippenham.
Wiltshire Air Ambulance’s events coordinator Beth Knights said: “We’d like to thank all of the teams who took part in this year’s It’s A Knockout event and made it such a success – and a huge congratulations to Digital Wonderlab on winning.
“We would also like to thank Rapid Relief Team for providing an incredible lunch for the teams and to Grist Environmental for donating the recycling bins.”
The final scores were:
1st – 66 points – Digital Wonderlab
2nd – 61 points – Deceuninck
3rd – 53 points – Goodings Accounts
4th – 50 points – Kington St Michael Netball
5th – 47 points – MP Michelle Donelan’s team
6th – 31 points – Great Western Hospital nurses
