Snowdon Sunrise success
Friday, 19 July 2024
In total we had 41 people take part, setting off just before 2am to scale the heights of the largest mountain in Wales.
As the sun rose, around 5.20am, our intrepid trekkers were treated to an unforgettable view, as these images from the event demonstrate.
Thank you to our trainee critical care paramedic Enda who took the below photos.
Many of the people taking part came from businesses who are charity partners of Wiltshire Air Ambulance.
This included staff from Cross Manufacturing Company, Gooding Accounts, Marc Reed - Anzen Safety & Compliance Ltd and Jensen Wealth Management.
Collectively our Snowdon Sunrise trekkers have helped to raise awareness of our charity and over £14,000 in fundraising.
Well done to everyone involved!
Our annual mission stats for 2025
Our crew were called to 1,159 missions over the past year – a reminder of the lifesaving difference made possible by public support.
From our airbase in Semington, the helicopter and critical care cars responded to an average of three incidents every day, delivering advanced medical care when every second counted. Speed is the our superpower, with the helicopter able to reach anywhere in Wiltshire and Bath within just 11 minutes.
