Peter Burch

Trusts and Major Donor Lead

Pete joined the charity in July 2025 and is responsible for managing the Charitable Trust and Foundation portfolio within fundraising and also developing and implementing our Major Donor programme.

This support is crucial to the charity raising the lifesaving £5.3 million required each year to operate the air ambulance and critical care vehicles.

Pete resides in Romsey, Hampshire with his wife and two young children. Pete has worked in fundraising for 15 years, most recently at Wonderseekers, which operates Winchester Science Centre, Dentaid The Dental Charity and for three years at Hampshire and Isle of Wight Air Ambulance.

Interestingly, we have known Pete since 2015, as he was one of the first patients in our current air ambulance, after he sustained a life changing motorcycle accident near Salisbury. We have seen Pete through almost every stage of his recovery and rehabilitation and to have Pete now as part of our team demonstrates perfectly why we exist.

Outside of work you will see Pete still riding his motorcycles, spending time with his family and trying to keep on top of a weedy allotment.
