David Connor

Critical Care Doctor

David is a Consultant in Emergency Medicine who divides his time between the A&E in hospital and the air ambulance. Originally from Northern Ireland, he specialised as an Emergency Medicine Consultant in Wessex before moving to Scotland where he worked with the Emergency Medical Retrieval Service, part of the Scottish Ambulance Service's prestigious retrieval and HEMS platforms. This allowed him to refine his sub-speciality expertise in pre-hospital emergency medicine.

After years in Scotland, David moved south in 2023 and started working with Wiltshire and Bath Air Ambulance Charity in August that year. When not in Wiltshire, David's other roles include being a substantive Consultant in Chelsea & Westminster NHS Hospital and a Major Trauma Consultant in St. Mary's Hospital, London.

His specialist interests include resuscitation medicine, ambulance service senior leadership, emergency preparedness and patient experience.

Outside of medicine, David lives in London and enjoys eating out, the theatre and is an avid skier.
